2.希望に惑わず

「Where hopes　cannot delude,
Nor sorrow discontent:

The man needs neither towers
Nor armour for defence,
Not secret vaults to fly
From thunder’s violence.」

鑑賞：取り立ててなんの変哲もない暮らしのように見えるが、ここにイギリス人の
　　　望ましい姿があるのでしょう。
